The majority of unisex salons consider male grooming to be secondary to services provided for women. Having worked in many salons whose main direction and focus had been ladies I realised the demand for a new concept for male styling.

My interest in mens hair helped me appreciate the fact that a fresh vision, incorporating texture and a creative outlook, was required to get a strong enough image for men to have a “style” as opposed to the traditional “cut”.

Men’s hair was beginning to get a lot more exciting with bigger, more colourful, and experimental looks which were also becoming more predominant in the media. With this new trend starting I wanted to open a salon with a strong male grooming element, and i think is what we have acheived.
